ALANA FLORA, J.D. | Chief Operations Officer
Alana’s deep passion for the advocacy and protection of children and families began early in life. While pursuing her bachelor’s degree in English Literature, Alana continued to volunteer and to serve those in need. Upon graduation, Alana served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate and substitute teacher, allowing her to work directly with children and families. While pursuing her Juris Doctor, she interned with the local juvenile justice system, studied International Human Rights abroad, and focused on efforts to assist families in need. It was also during this time that her eyes were opened to the atrocity of human trafficking. Since then, she has been working diligently with anti-human trafficking efforts. It is her heart for those in need and her passion for justice that has led her to join the AFRJ.
