Human Trafficking’s Impact on the Hispanic Community

As part of National Hispanic Heritage Month, Ashleigh Chapman, CEO, joined Randstad for a special national webinar on human trafficking’s impact on the Hispanic community in the United States.  Of note, this past year, Latinos were the highest represented demographic for victims of human trafficking reported to the National Human Trafficking Hotline.

We are proud to have Randstad on the Freedom Council, and we are so grateful for their commitment and impact in the fight to end human trafficking.  In 2013, we worked with Randstad’s leadership to create the Hire Hope program, which provides career readiness training, paid apprenticeships, and job placement opportunities for survivors of human trafficking.  This pioneering and transformational program is still going strong today – and changing lives in miraculous ways.
