This summer we are highlighting our Freedom Council members. Today, meet Carren Hannon.
Carren Hannon a Global In-house Center Advisor for Anthem joined the AFRJ® Freedom Council because she was inspired by the approach of technology innovation and corporate social responsibility that brings data and insight to this grave violation of human rights.
Anthem, Inc. is one of the nation’s largest health benefits companies providing commercial and government health insurance products to over 40 million members.
Carren has been involved in non-profits all of her adult life. She started in high school with the March of Dimes, and most recently she was part of the finance committee for AWARE (Atlanta Wildlife Animal Rescue Effort). Not only has she been a part of the non-profit community but for the last 14 years, she’s been involved in Employee/ Associate Resource Group at work.
Carren graduated from Reinhardt University in Waleska, Georgia with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. Outside of work, she is an avid runner, cook, and loves to travel. She is married and has two fur children (dogs).
