Supporting Youth Aging Out of Foster Care

Youth aging out of foster care are one of the most vulnerable populations exploited by traffickers.  Increasing community supports for youth and young adults at this critical stage in their lives is essential to preventing human trafficking and all forms of exploitation and harm.  Which is why Alana Flora joined with Regent University School of Law and The Children and the Law Commission of the Virginia State Bar Young Lawyers Conference to develop a comprehensive resource guide for the Hampton Roads area.  This new resource will be used by community partners, the judicial system, and direct service providers to increase supports for youth aging of foster care in the region.
